Laptop power socket repair charge 		for laptops dropped off for repair and collected when ready. Approximately 95% of the sockets are repaired at this price. Some are more expensive as the cost of the replacement connector is higher.

Other charges

£25* return postage charge for repairs sent through the post. Have a look at the posting advice.
£10 to £25 callout charge for on-site repairs. On-site repairs are available for greater London area only. The callout charge depends on the location of the customer's premises.
£20 to £30 collect and return

collect, repair and return service is available on request for London area only. The pick up and return charge depends on the location.

The figures above are all inclusive with no hidden charges. Payments accepted: online through Google Checkout and Paypal, cash, bank transfers, cheques (needs to clear before the laptop is repaired).

Note 1: Each repair is undertaken after a prior arrangement. Should you decide to use the service please establish a contact first.

Note 2: The return shipping charge always applies for laptops sent through the post. The callout charge applies for all onsite repairs.

Note 3: The power adapter (charger) needs to be provided together with the laptop. No repair will be attempted on laptop provided without a charger.

No fix no fee

No Fix No Fee - applies only for laptops on which no one has worked internally. If anyone has opened the laptop and attempted internal repairs full payment applies no matter the outcome of the repair process. The No Fix No Fee policy applies for the parts and labour only. The return shipping, callout and collect and return charges are outside the scope of the No Fix No Fee policy and needs to be paid in all cases they apply.

Warranty

3 months warranty is given on the repaired sockets. It is return to base warranty and includes labour only. No warranty is given on a power sockets if a previous repair had been done or attempted. If laptop is sent through the post for warranty repair a return shipping fee applies. Notebooks given for warranty repair need to be provided together with the original power adapter (charger).Warranty is void if the laptop has been abused. Warranty is void if within the warranty period anyone has opened the laptop and worked internally on it. Warranty is void if no charger or no original charger is sent with the laptop. The supplier of the laptop power socket repair service has sole discretion to determine the cases in which the warranty is violated.
